No one was ready when it finally hit.

Praise for On the Back of the Beast:
I highly recommend this fast-paced adventure which depicts the very real and life changing possibilities that could occur in the event of a major earthquake in
the Bay Area. The author details the events of everyday people whose life's are interrupted and forever changed when the land under their feet buckles and quakes leaving destruction and chaos in
their path. The characters are interesting and easy to identify with. This book is a fast and enjoyable read. 5 STARS Gail Remillard --
I could not stop reading this book, it was so gripping that I finished it in less than a day.
The story surrounds the lives of many characters living (and many dieing) during a giant earthquake and the subsequent chaos that it creates. There are many characters in this book and the writers style is enthralling. When ever I found myself thinking that I would just finish the chapter or paragraph I was reading then put the book away to continue later I found myself being thrown back into the often times scary or thrilling escapades of another character or set of characters. This style kept me entranced by the story. I found myself at times coming to the end of a section or chapter wondering what was happening with another character and as if the writer was in my head the next section would bring that characters story into focus.
This book is certainly a warning to the world about the disruption and chaos that major earthquakes cause. It was also absolutely enthralling, pulling me forward, further into the novel at nearly every turn.
I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good thriller or is interested in earthquakes. Just remember that "The Beast" is slumbering under your feet. 5 STARS John Anders -- Amazon.com

Praise for The Ripple in Space-Time:
"I enjoyed the story although I rarely read sci fi books. Like all the scientific information that explains just what the ripple is. love how the book got it's title." -- jbarrett5 Books Reviewed and Knit Items
"It plays on a tried and true plot - someone wants total domination and threatens mass destruction - and develops it into a very good science fiction theme. I really liked the central idea behind the story, that of using real time and news broadcasts to set the stage. Very good." -- Paul Johnson, Reader’s Favorite
"I could picture everything that S.F Chapman was describing, and I could visualize where he was trying to take the reader. I really don't know what to say other than I just enjoyed this story. A lot. Don't get me wrong, it was a lot different than the bluster of cute romantic novels I've been reading lately, and let me tell you that it was a breath of fresh air." -- Kristen for The Cookoo's Nest Book Blog
